The exploration of a dark family secret and a story of passion as seen through the inner voyage of François a solitary child, who invents for himself a brother while imagining his parents' past.
On his fifteenth birthday, a friend of the family reveals to young François an overwhelming truth, but one which enables him at last to start building his life. Claude Miller's film is the adaptation of Philippe Grimbert's novel 'A Secret', published by Grasset & Fasquelle, winner of the Secondary School Gongourt Prize and Readers of Elle Grand Prix.
